About DogDrills: Who We Are and How This Site Works
DogDrills is an independent site. Short daily dog-training drills: obedience, behavior fixes, and recall work in two-minute sessions.
What this site is
Dog training advice online is mostly recycled. This site is built around drills you can run in a driveway or a hallway: step counts, repetition targets, and the specific cue timing that separates a dog who sits on command from one who sits when it feels like it. Recall, leash pulling, and crate training each get their own drill sequence rather than a single "obedience" checklist.
How we work
Our drills are built from certified trainer methodology and behavior science on operant conditioning, then run with real dogs before they're published. Guides are drafted with AI assistance and checked against that methodology before going live, which our editorial policy explains. If a drill doesn't work as written after testing, we rewrite it instead of leaving it up.
How we make money
Every drill and guide is free. The site earns affiliate commissions when readers buy training tools, treats, or courses through links here. Full terms are in our disclosure.
Corrections
If a drill isn't working for your dog or a step seems wrong, tell us through the contact form. We revise and date the change.
